Terms and Conditions

Women in Engineering (WIE) – Refund & Exchange Policy (WIE is an official event of New Era College)

1. Our Commitment
At New Era College, we want every participant to be excited about their Women in Engineering (WIE) experience—whether that means attending the conference, purchasing a ticket, or ordering branded merchandise. If, for any reason, you are not satisfied, this Refund & Exchange Policy explains how we will put you first.

2. Cancellations Within 24 Hours
– If you cancel your registration or merchandise order within 24 hours of placing it and before it has been shipped or collected, we will initiate a full refund.

3. Orders Already Shipped or Collected
– If your order has already been shipped or collected, you are responsible for returning the item(s) to us at your own cost.
– Once we receive and inspect the item(s), a refund or exchange may be processed according to the terms in Section 4.

4. Eligibility for Refund or Exchange
– Tickets purchased from New Era College may be eligible for a refund or exchange within 7 days of purchase

5. Processing Time
– Refunds & exchanges may take up to 14 days to process once all required items and
documentation have been received. We appreciate your patience.

6. Transaction Fees

– Please note that credit-card transaction fees are non-refundable.

7. How to Request a Refund or Exchange
– Email wie@neweracollege.ac.bw with your order number, reason for the request, and
any supporting photos (if applicable).

Issues with Tickets or Merchandise

1. Reporting Ticket or Merchandise Issues
If your WIE ticket has any issues you must report the issue within 24 hours of receiving it.
– Email clear outline of the issue and send to info@neweracollege.ac.bw.
– Do not discard the ticket (if physical) or the packaging until advised by the WIE Team.
– Reports received after 24 hours cannot be processed for claims or exchanges.

2. Claim Process
If your report is accepted, New Era College will initiate a claim process which may take 15–30
business days depending on the issue.

– Tickets issued electronically will be reviewed for validity and reissued where appropriate.

3. Resolution
– If the claim is approved, a new ticket will be issued at no extra cost, subject to availability.

– If the issue is deemed to be due to customer mishandling, the request for replacement
or refund may be denied or charged accordingly.
